WHAT IS IT?
Floral waters, also called hydrolats, are produced by the steam distillation of flowers. During this distillation, essential oil is obtained at the top (more concentrated), and hydrolat at the bottom (less concentrated, therefore gentler and often better tolerated, even for pregnant women).
HOW TO USE THEM?
After your facial cleanser and before your serum/cream, by spraying directly onto your face. You can also use a cotton pad soaked in hydrolat and then apply it to your face.
They can also be used for clay masks, replacing tap water with floral water to enhance the benefits and properties of the ingredients.
OUR FLORAL WATERS
Rose Hydrolat - The Must-Have - All skin types
The first hydrolat Cocooning Love sold; we've been winning over our customers with it for several years now :)
Rose hydrolat is the best known and most widely used because it suits most skin types and has many recognized benefits.
It will tone the skin and help tighten pores. It is also known for its effect in preventing skin aging.
You'll have beautiful, delicately scented skin!
Cornflower Hydrolat - Tired and dark-circled eyes
Our cornflower hydrolat comes from the Centaurea flower, not the fruit known by the same name. Its scent is therefore different.
Recommended for caring for sensitive skin and the eye contour.
Cornflower hydrolat will help soothe the eye contour, reduce puffy eyelids, lessen dark circles, and revive tired eyes.
We recommend applying a cotton pad soaked in hydrolat and leaving it on your eyelids for 10 minutes for awakened and de-puffed eyes.
Lavender Hydrolat - Oily and acne-prone skin
This hydrolat is the ally for combination to oily skin. It will help to reduce minor imperfections and accelerate their healing. It will also help you achieve soothed and refreshed skin and tighter pores.
A LITTLE TIP
Don't hesitate to put the floral water in the refrigerator to intensify the refreshing effect!
