Why use a body scrub?

POURQUOI UTILISER UN EXFOLIANT POUR LE CORPS ?

Dry, rough, uneven skin, or ingrown hairs? Do you also wonder how to get soft, smooth skin and which products will help you achieve it?

We often remember to exfoliate our face, but we too often neglect our body, which needs it just as much.

In this article, we explain why you should use a body exfoliant and how to use it.

WHY USE A BODY EXFOLIANT?

Okay, the big question you might be asking is, what's it for?

Well, it's simple, just like your facial scrub, your body exfoliant will remove dead cells, smooth the skin, reduce ingrown hairs, and make the skin softer.

The mechanical action of the sugar (or other grains) contained in your exfoliant will activate the skin's natural cell renewal and eliminate dry areas.

THE BENEFITS

Exfoliating your body has several benefits:

1. Improve product penetration

With dead cells removed, the skin is better able to absorb the products applied. It is then better hydrated and nourished.

2. Brighter and more even skin

Dead skin cells and impurities on the skin tend to dull it. With exfoliation, it will be brighter and more even, in addition to being softer to the touch.

3. Fewer ingrown hairs and pimples

Often, dry skin will tend to have more ingrown hairs or small pimples. Exfoliating your skin will help prevent hairs from getting trapped and causing inflammation. There will also be a reduction in small pimples.

4. Prolong your tan

Well-exfoliated skin is also skin that will retain a tan longer.

5. Toned skin

The mechanical action of scrubbing the body will activate cell renewal, blood circulation, and tone the tissues.

HOW TO USE IT

Ideally, it would be good to exfoliate your body 1 to 2 times a week.

Cocooning Love's sugar body exfoliants are products that can be used directly in the shower (practical!).

Take a small amount and apply it in circular motions to your legs, thighs, buttocks, arms – in short, pretty much all over your body.

You should avoid the face as the skin is thinner and more fragile, and the grains used in the body scrub would be too intense.

Once you've finished exfoliating all parts of your body, simply rinse. The product will then emulsify and wash off easily.

WHICH SUGAR EXFOLIANT TO CHOOSE?

PEACH & RASPBERRY

For fans of our Peach and Raspberry fragrance. It is also the mildest of the three exfoliants.

APRICOT

With its fruity scent and blend of sugar and apricot kernel powder, it has an intermediate intensity.

COFFEE & VANILLA
For coffee lovers who like a good, thorough exfoliation. In addition to sugar, it is enriched with ground coffee beans, making it the most intense of the three exfoliants.
